MARCA CHILE DESIGN CONTEST: PALOMA

Winning project of Marca Chile Design Contest with Pedro Pablo Chavarri and Katja Krause.

Paloma is a set of containers made of materials linked to the artisan tradition and the imaginary of Chile. It consists of two bowls of native Lenga wood, a container in clay, a container in marble and a small copper tray.

Paloma is the result of an analytical process of the representative qualities of the 5 large areas in which the territory is divided (North, Center, South, Southern and Insular Chile) and seeks to show the idealized images of the collective and translate them into a set that evokes forms, ideas and truths in a subtle way, without falling into convention or figurations of craft.

Material: Lenga wood, travertine marble, copper and clay

 Dimensions: 15 x 20 cm
